I worked with Roy at the LOS ANGELES 
D. W.P for over 30 years.
When I started, he worked at night and I really didn't know him too well, until he came to days.
After that, I got to know Roy real well.
I found out that he went to Garfield High and he knew some of the guys that worked for my Uncle's building material supply shop. He also told me he worked for Roy Neshek's gas station, which was across the street from my Uncle's place.
Roy was always cool with me and I always 
gave him whatever he needed
May his soul Rest in Peace and my condolences to his loved ones.

He had a ton of humor. That’s why he was well loved.

Roy is my second cousin. Roy’s mother Luz and my mother  Victoria Armenta White are first cousins. Their mothers were sisters. When my mom’s mother passed away, she lived with Luz and her sisters as a teenager.  Roy was a sweet soul. He was filled with smiles and warm hugs.  I use to visit his mom when I first moved to the LA area from San Bernardino. I’d share about my teaching career and my brother Pedro serves as a Secret Service Agent. The last time I saw  Roy, he gave me copies of family photos. The last story he shared with me was about my dad coming to his wedding. He felt family supported.  His name will stay in our book of prayers at Saint Philomena Catholic Church. Much love to all his friends and family.

I met Roy when he was in a rehab facility next to ex-mother in law. Realized after talking his father was my grandmother's brother. I grew up in Hacienda Heights also.  Small world. I was able to send him a couple of pictures we had of his father when younger. Him and my mom were in contact last few years. So sorry for your loss.
