Celebrating your 89th birthday Tío. I am so happy we were there with you. You were telling jokes and sharing stories. We love you and will miss you.

Hello Dad.  Just want to say how much I miss you.  Once again I'd like to thank you for everything you gave us.   Your gentle persona coupled with your sense of responsibility was one of your many attributes.    Your kindness and ability to turn a negative into a positive made you a good man and role model.  I have many happy memories of you and one of the happiest that I remember is when we would go out for ice-cream on the weekends.   Those simple outings meant the world to me.    I love you Dad.  Thank you for being the best.

Dad, I will always treasure every memory with you. I want you back here with us but I know you’re in a better place.  Hearing mariachi, driving by an Arby’s, or eating a McDonalds burger holds a special memory in my heart that brings your face to mind. Your voice singing “Deja que salga la luna…” plays in my memory and brings a warmth to my soul. I will miss you forever but rejoice in knowing we will be reunited again. I love you so much, Dad.

Grandpa, we will miss you so much. We will always keep in our memory how you joked with us and kept asking for our college and marriage plans. We often think of your voice singing karaoke and ballads. You were so much better at karaoke than us! We will cherish our visits and phone calls with you, grandpa. We all love you so much

Cómo olvidar los momentos tan bonitos, tan a menos que pasábamos, gozando de su rica, carne asada de su sonrisa, que era lo único que tenía usted, porque nunca me tocó verlo enojado
De la magnífica voz de Pedro Infante, sus melodías que usted interpretaba se quedan con nosotros
Personas como usted son para siempre, cuando yo escuche una melodía de Pedro Infante a mi memoria, viene mi amigo puertorriqueño que de corazón se sentía mexicano, porque le encantaba el mariachi y le  encantaba  cantar las melodías de Pedro Infante
Los momentos de karaoke que vivimos en compañía suya, Pedro, yo, el amigo de Pedro, el otro amigo, que no me acuerdo cómo se llama que también falleció, fueron momentos muy especiales para toda la vida, la comadre Lili amable como siempre.
Puedo continuar aquí, porque las memorias de Jesse son interminables.
Los momentos que pasamos con él y su familia en Puerto Rico, los llevó en el corazón toda su familia tan amable fue una experiencia muy linda, nos trataron muy bien y conocimos la isla de Puerto Rico como nunca y después de eso el Crusero, qué bonito recuerdos para siempre.
Cómo puedo olvidar que Jessy nos escogió a mí y a Conchita para hacer sus padrinos de bautizo a la edad de 60 y tantos años, fue un detalle muy bonito para nosotros y lo aceptamos con mucho mucho cariño

I miss you Dad. I love you and I thank you for being so loving and caring. You taught me so much about life and I will carry those lessons with me forever. I will miss sitting next to you each baseball season listening to you and how exciting you made baseball sound. I can't wait to play catch with you in heaven one day.
