Janet Pickering passed away peacefully at age 88 on May 23, 2024 in Fullerton, CA where she resided at Morningside of Fullerton. Family graveside services have been scheduled at Rose Hills in Whittier on June 8, 2024.
She is survived by her husband, Jack, by a son, Steve West of Mammoth Lakes, CA, by a daughter, Shelby Alms of Alamo, CA, and by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Janet was born in Huntington Park, CA to ST and Dorothy Ziler and spent her formative years in Downey, CA. A graduate of Whittier College, Janet has resided in La Habra and Fullerton since 1973. She was a devoted daughter, wife, and mother, and was a member of the Fullerton First Presbyterian Church and was an active member in P.E.O.
Janet will be laid to rest in Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601; Hillcrest Lawn; Gate: 17, Section: 8, Lot: 349, Grave: 3.
