My deepest thoughts and condolences go out to one of the greatest families that I have been honored to be a part of. I became friends with Cecy around 30+ years ago and almost immediately  became family. The love and acceptance from Mr Lucero & Mama Martha was instant and always.  We could have gone long times without seeing eachother but the love was always there. Mr Lucero was a great man who raised great kids. I'll always remember him not only for his cap and stylish ways but for the conversations and feeling of great concern and love he showed. Cecy & family I'm here and always will be. Love u all. God bless you and give u strength and  comfort you need at this time. Long live in loving Memory Mr Lucero as he rejoices in the presence of the almighty one and only our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ❤️🕊🌹

Thank you for all the times you reached out and shared an encouraging thought, a family memory, a scripture verse, or uplifting song. Thank you for your advice and for your heartfelt prayers.  Thank you for being strong for us. You never complained. God knew what you were going through and he knew when you had enough and it was time to take you home. I didn't want you to leave yet but

Words can not  express how much it meant to me when I would go over and how you always welcomed me into your home. You & your wife Martha gave me so much love.  Even spending the night over several weekends. 
I remember one time I had walked into the dining room from Cecy’s room & there you were singing whole heartedly to “ The Rising Sun’.” 😁 I thought it was the coolest thing. I love that song til this day.  
I Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always treating me so kindly & like I was just one of your kids. It meant & means more to me than I could ever say. I Love you! ❤️ 

My Dearest uncle, hearing about your passing really did bring some sadness. You always were a kind hearted person and always made me feel welcome at your home. Thank you for always sharing a good laugh and conversations. Glad I got to see you this year you will surely  be missed

Mr. Lu-ced-o, hearing about your passing felt like someone had sucked the life out of me.  I will miss seeing you when I walk into the Hollydale Shop.  I appreciated the kind, level-headed person that you were, and I especially enjoyed the times we had cracking up laughing on the phone.  One positive thing is that your spirit has joined your dear mother's because I know how crazy you were about her.  I will leave you to rest in peace, and just know that our spirits shall meet again in due time.  P.S. If you run into William D. Hart Jr., let him know that his baby girl is doing alright.

My sincere condolences to Paul's family.  I worked with Paul in Public Works.   He was such a gentle soul, who always treated me with respect and greeted me with a welcoming smile and voice, whether it be in person or over the phone.   Thank you for your kindness, Paul!  Rest now in peace with our Lord.

Hospital staff that got to know my dad while he went in for treatments used to joking call him The Godfather because he always walked in with style and confidence. He used to tell everyone I was his bodyguard. And he loved his bright patterned socks…. Sometimes I thought he purposefully purchased and wore the brightest ones he could find to make the staff laugh a little. 

Pops was a Momma’s boy…. He loved his mom so much. Now he will join her in eternity. ❤️

Family Lucero  I’m praying 🙏 for all the family Receive my condense  : we all my my brother very much I have  a visit with my brother polo I was able to pry with my brother and my  twin , we have a special time with polo he tell me I don’t want be my self I tell him brother God is with you  you are never alone , I remember the special days he came to visit are mom he will stay 3 days he will cook for everyone in the house he was a special brother he will cook with so much love ❤️ he always say I like to stay with my madre to give her special time   Are madre was super happy, thank you Jesus for my brother polo one day  we able to see him again in the presents of God love you brother your Betita

The four musketeers on my 21st birthday. I’ll miss you forever papa, like the stars miss the sun in the morning sky. 

      It gives me great sadness whenever a loved one, a family member or a good friend leaves us, especially someone I admire and look up too, and then all I am left with are memories. Paul was humble but proud of who he was, he was a fine person with great sense of humor, proud of his heritage and respectful of everyone. He was a great supervisor, a great technician, but his greatest quality was being a great mentor and the finest of colleagues to work with.
      I will miss you Mr. Hipalito Lucero and will cherish all the great memories of working with you, may your legacy live on.
      God bless your soul and my dearest condolences to your loved ones.

Paul was an esteemed colleague and friend, a good man and a knowledgeable Technician.  I am honored that I had the privilege to know and work with him. When running errands, I would always gravitate towards the Shop knowing that he was there just to say Hi and talk shop.  We lost a valuable person that is already missed.

Always led the troops into battle with style 

One of several trips to LA my dad took me on to show me where he used to hangout when he was young.  He would tell me the bus routes he’d take, parks he would jog at, and show me old buildings he used to work at. He loved to share stories for every place he showed me. ❤️

Now he’s in the REAL City of Hope… in heaven. ❤️

Thank you Paul for always welcoming me into your home throughout the years and sharing you funny stories with me. You always had the best advice and sense of humor, I know that's where my best friend Karen gets it from.  I promise to keep her head up through this rough time. Rest easy my friend<3
