Pero al usar su vida para amar, cuidar, proteger y sacar adelante a fiel esposa Elsa e hijos y a la vez, siempre estar al pendiente de nietos, sobrinos, primos y tíos con tanto cariño, interés y generosidad, se ha ganado una excelente reputación y Jehová lo recordará siempre por ello. Nos toca a nosotros imitarlo encontrando maneras de hacer cosas buenas que enriquezcan nuestra vida y la de los demás como esforzarnos por mantener la comunicación y fortalecer nuestros vínculos familiares. Así mantendremos a diario un recuerdo vivo, real y permanente  de él en cada uno de nosotros. Con mucho cariño, Mauricio, Ma. Virginia y tía Güera, Hermelinda. 

My sweet Tio! I’ll forgive miss you!  (And your Hawaiian shirts lol. )You were always there to share memories with us, and more importantly my dad! My dad lost his best friend but forgive have all the laughs and memories to hold on too! I love you Tio! May you rest in paradise 

My condolences go out to the Grijalva family during this hard time.. I hope that God finds a way to bring you peace and give strength to endure things to come. I don't have many memories with my uncle Hector.. but I do remember always seeing a welcoming smile on his face and his energy was always positive. RIP tio Herctor. 

I will never forget you. You had been one of the sweetest and most kind hearted people in my life. I will never forget the times when we got to see you at the gatherings and when you give one of your good and big hugs to each and every one of the grandkids. I will miss you forever and keep you in my heart for as long as I live.  Heaven has gained an angel that will make heaven even brighter than it has ever been now that your there. I love you grandpa and may your soul rest peacefully.

We remember meeting Hector when  Ana and Able started dating. At every family party, such as baby showers weddings, graduations, and birthdays, Hector was so happy and he loved to talk. He made everyone feel at home around him.  He was very kind and always caring. It was always a pleasure to see Hector because the minute he saw anyone come into the room, he would greet you with a hug or a tap on the shoulder and give you a big smile. He also would always be offering everyone something to drink or eat.  He reminded us so much of his mom la Visa Abuelita Alma. That's what the children called her and el Abuelito Hector. Now they are both together in heaven. Hector Guadalupe Grijalva may your soul rest in peace. Amen! You will be missed by all.

Hector Grijalva, "My other Papi".  He was a man of such thoughtfulness.  He always was there for the family.  He always wanted to go and be a part of the next family party or celebration  I know many people don't know, we shared "Birthdays" together, October 25th.  We will call and wish each other the best for our Birthday's.  He was so kind and had such "Joy" about him.  His "Smile and his Laughter" always resonated the room, where he was.  I loved when he shared his, "Cuban Recipes" with me.  He would make them for me to make me happy and feel at home.  In my Wedding he hired a "Trio" to come and play music to add a touch of home to the Celebration.  I know that my father will greet him as soon as he arrives up in Heaven.  I miss you and will keep your love in my heart Always.  I know that we will meet again.

Dear Hector, the brief time we met, I could see you cared for your family. I saw the same strength that my father had. I remember the Laughter and jokes you shared with my Dad.   May you rejoice as friends and watch over us. My deepest respect to you and your family. For they feel the same loss as I do.  I am  happy to have met you.  God bless you in your new journey.  Amen

To my father in law thank you for always being so good to me and my kids. All of the memories I have of you  are all good ones, because you had such a big heart. I know we all wish you didn’t have to go. 😢 You were the highlight of our bbqs and we would all wait for you to get there, and I will miss seeing you there but now your a beautiful angel watching over all of us. I know one things for sure there’s a party up in heaven when you entered the gates. Heaven gained a sweet man. I love you and your memory will live on in our hearts.
