Gloria Grace Parker passed away peacefully on August 24 surrounded by several of her adult children and their spouses. Gloria was born in Bell, California, on November 17, 1936. She grew up in Los Angeles in the loving home of her parents, Norman and Bess Willey, with sister, Beverly, and graduated from Montebello High School and Whittier College. While in high school, she met her future husband, Lawrence (Larry) Parker, at the Hollywood Palladium. They were married from 1957 until Larry’s passing in 2021. Together, they raised six children, each of them her favorite. Gloria was an active member of every community in which she lived, including Anaheim, Villa Park, and Lido Isle. She and Larry were blessed to have a large circle of wonderful friends.
The Parker family invites them all to join us for a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1441 W. Balboa Blvd., Newport Beach, on Thursday, Sept. 7 at 10:00 a.m.
