Thank you for all the years of eye care you provided me. It was a privilege to have been seen by such a caring and genuine man. I hope you are resting well and at peace.

I called to schedule an appointment for my daughter today and was deeply saddened to hear that Dr. Gee had passed on. I will forever remember him, he will always be our favorite doctor. He went above and beyond.  He always remembered some detail about our lives and had a great sense of humor and such an uplifting personality. I will never forget his kindness. I know you believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I know we will see you again, until then rest easy and know you made a positive impact on so many. I thank father God Jehovah for you 🙌🏽

I can’t believe I’m reading this. My sister had mentioned she read Dr. Gee had passed but didn’t believe it until now. We have been going to him for over 20 years. He has always been a kind and friendly person during all my appointments. He always helped me when I had issues with my eyes & contacts. I’m so sorry to hear this and wish I knew earlier so I could have attended his funeral.  Thank you Dr. Gee for being a compassionate and kind doctor. Rest In Peace Dr. Gee.

He was a very good doctor. He always took care when he treated me. I was sorry to hear he passed. May God give you strength to carry on without him. He will be truly missed. 

I was so shocked today to hear about the passing of Dr Gee. I called for my yearly checkup which I'm a month late and was wondering why insurance was on hold. I was then told that Dr Gee had passed...and that he passed away last Dec 2020! I am sooo sad about the news. I have been with Dr Gee for about 17+ years now. He's the one that recommended me to get lasik surgery and I've been going to him ever since. He's been the only optometrist that I've stayed with. He's always so kind and funny whenever we have conversations and I complain about getting old and my eye sight going bad. He's one of the best out there. Very sorry to his family and staff for his loss. He will be missed greatly and again so shocked to hear about the sad news.  Best, Jennifer

I just want to say to the family of my favorite Eye doctor, that i am so sorry for your loss as well as mines. It deeply saddens me to hear the news today. I was calling to schedule my yearly exam like I always do. They told me that the insurance is on hold for the reason, that I didn’t know at the time. I am terribly saddened to hear this. My heart hurts so bad right now. I pray that God gives his family strength and understanding. I have been seeing Dr. Gee for 21+ years. I don’t know what I’m going to do now. 

I was a patient for Dr. Gee for over 20 years, and my son has never been to another eye doctor.  We absolutely loved his calm manner, humor, and obvious deep concern and care for his patients.  He always remembered details about us and we had little inside jokes that we would tell each other.  He was a great man, and will be dearly missed.  Sending prayers for comfort to his family, friends, and staff  ❤❤❤❤.

With sincere regrets and  condolences to Dr. Gee’s family. He was my optometrist for nearly 30 years. Always such a pleasant demeanor and always remembered particulars about hobbies, life, family and asked for updates during visits. He will be sorely missed. 

I am at a loss for words of the passing of Dr. Gee, I found out by calling the office for an appointment. I've been a patient of his for over 15years, my condolences to his family.  He was such a kind doctor and I never visited any other eye doctor but Dr. Gee in 15years.  He will be greatly missed.

I have been at a loss for words (happens rarely) hearing the devastating news of our beloved optometrist, Dr. Gee passing. I would like to first extend our thoughts and prayers to the Gee family. My family and I have been a patient of his for more than 30 years. He was always awesome and so patient with my parents. My 9 yr old daughter was lucky to have him as her doctor. There aren't enough words to describe what an amazing doctor and human being he was. He treated his patients with such kindness and respect ( even with the difficult ones! We can be a bit much in this neck of the woods). He went above and beyond all the time. He wasn't just our doctor. He was our brother, father, friend, counselor, etc. He filled those shoes when need be. I ALWAYS looked forward to my annual appointments. I could always count on receiving the absolute best care for my eyes and we'd have some good laughs together as well (Right Barbara?! 😁👍). We will miss him dearly. Thank you Dr. Gee for being the BEST!! 

I am truly sorry for your loss. I am really blessed to have known Dr. Gee and will forever be grateful for his care. He diagnosed my son with juvenile glaucoma when he was 13 years old. My son is now 18 years old. We just saw Dr. Gee this past December, I can’t believe we lost him soon after. He will always be in our hearts.

Dr. Gee was an amazing optometrist. He was a very caring and honest man.  He will truly be missed. He was so young.  I know that he is in Heaven with our Lord and savior Jesus.  No more tears, pain or sorrow.  I'm thankful to have met Dr.Gee and been his patient for many years.  

our family has known dr. gerry gee since foreverrrr. i didn’t want to see another optometrist, even when he moved offices all the way out in carson from monterey park. i tried for the sake of convenience but was left unsatisfied. i went back to dr gee. he always listened and CARED. top service was always received. he knew my brother and i since we were kids. i am sadden to hear of his passing. truly one of a kind man in his work. very dedicated to his service. we will miss him... 

My deepest condolences to Dr. Gee's family. He was our families optometrist for over 20 years. Last year he provided above and beyond patient care after having lasik eye surgery. I am shocked  of his passing. He will truly be missed in our community. Rest in paradise Dr. Gee.

When we heard the news we were absolutely devastated. He’s been our optometrist for over 20yrs and for 6yrs to my son! We just couldn’t believe the news. On behalf of my family, we send our love and prayers to you and your family. We will always remember you and hold you close. You will really be missed my friend.

The Pacheco family sends our heartfelt  condolences to Dr. Gee‘s family and his staff. Herb and Teri have been coming to Dr. Gee since the early to mid-1980’s at his first office in Carson next to Radio Shack and Strawhat Pizza. A few years later, our daughter Kristen came to see him when she needed glasses. 

Dr. Gee is the only optometrist we’ve known because we value his quality of care, “bedside” manner, and excellent skill which sometimes rivaled our ophthalmologist. 

Dr. Gee has been a friend too. He made the time to get to know each of us as people, not just as patients. He also took extra time to explain issues and options until we understood without ever making us feel rushed.

Rest in peace Dr. Gee - we will miss you!


On behalf of my family and I, may I extend my heartfelt condolences to Dr. Gee’s family and his wonderful staff.  I have been a patient of his for over 25 years.  I always looked forward to my yearly visits with him.  He was an exceptional guy and very funny!  He took good care of my family too.  As we mourn and say goodbye to this visionary person, let us also celebrate his life and achievements.  You will be missed.
