Throughout my life I have always been called my father's clone, and I am proud. My father had a kind heart, selfless, and a true hero. He was constantly devoting his time to helping others, from trying to help me and my brother get a good start in life, to helping veterans through organized events with the American legion. Even as a trucker he has saved lives from burning wrecks he's come across. He was able to put his pride aside and do whatever he needed to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. I am the man I am today because of him. I love you papa!

I MET GERRY AND CAROL IN 1977 AND WE SHARED OUR LIVES TOGETHER THROUGH GOOD TIMES AND TOUGH TIMES.  AT ONE TIME I SHARED A HOUSE WITH THEM IN WHITTIER. WE BECAME FAMILY AND SHARED THE LAST 42 YEARS OF OUR LIVES TOGETHER . I USED TO KID HIM ABOUT BEING MY OLDEST FRIEND OF 40 PLUS YEARS. LOOKING BACK HE AND CAROL WERE ALSO MY BEST FRIEND. MOST YEARS WE SHARED  WATCHING HIS STEELERS AND MY PACKERS PLAY IN THE NFL. WE SPENT LAST SUPERBOWL TOGETHER . HE WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED AS I HEAR THE SOUND OF A HARLEY,AS WE RODE MANY MILES TOGETHER.  AND THE MENTION OF THE STEELERS AND THE SUPERBOWL. RIDE ON MY BROTHER.

I remember that Uncle Jerry and Aunt Carolyn always always had a place in their home for us. Whether it was letting us stay and camp out in the livingroom once we returned from Hawaii & putting up with our runaway cat, or being a safe haven for unforseen circumstances that sometimes happen within a family. His home and heart was alway open for family no matter how much we may have annoyed him haha screaming kids running all over the place. I remember the last converstation I had with him and he said "don't be a stranger" even if its just a phone call. I wish so much that I would have made more phone calls, but so grateful for all the times that were shared and enjoyed! You will be missed but forever loved! Love Tonya, Jason, and Ace.
