It is with heavy hearts and our deepest sorrow, to announce the tragic passing of Gabriel Pacheco, at the age of 39. He was born in 1982 on the 29th of November and grew up in Fontana where he played sports, thrived in school and further education. He was a Son, Brother, Father, Nino, Uncle, Cousin, and Dear Friend.
Gabriel was a sweet and loving child, full of life. He loved taking walks with his Dad on Saturday mornings. We know in our hearts they are walking together again. Gabriel grew up with three siblings, and adored each one. He was an extraordinary, protective, thoughtful, loving, and smart older brother. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in math and had a natural knack for problem solving. Gabriel also found helping others with math very rewarding, whether it was his brothers, his children, nephews, or tutoring others.
The simplest pleasures in life brought Gabriel great joy. He enjoyed time with friends and family. Some of Gabriel’s favorite pastimes were attending BBQ’s, watching sports, playing Chess or Dominos, and holiday get-togethers. He took pride in his work, and opportunities - his pleasant personality and smile was contagious to everyone he met.
Gabriel became a father July 12th, 2009. He loved being a DAD, and proved himself to be a wonderful and dedicated father. Whether he was practicing cheerleading with Mikaela, somersaulting with Aniya, or climbing a roof to hold Gianna’s piñata, dressing up on Halloween, wearing his Daddy shirts - he was a “Girl Dad” and he loved it. Later in life, Gabriel was blessed with a son, who he also named Gabriel. He loved wrestling with “Little G” the way he used to with his own Dad. Gabriel’s children were his little angels, and now he is theirs.
He is survived by his Mother, Lydia Pacheco; four children, Mikaela, Aniya, Gianna, and Gabriel; nieces and nephews, Edwin, Audrina (Bella), Nicholas, Josiah, Angelina (Rose), Thomas, and Baby Theslof; his godson Troy, four siblings, his sister Marlene, and brothers Jeremy, Jordan, and Shawn; brother in law, Nick, and Godparents Sylvia and Jose Trinidad. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother Gloria, Grandpa Junior, and Father, Thomas Andrew Pacheco whom he is now at peace with eternally in the company of our Lord.
