Francisco, Frank, Gustavo, Gus. However you referred to him, he would always respond with a smile. Frank was a great man who led a momentous life full of joy. He was a man of the world with an insatiable curiosity and a thirst for life. His drive and profound sense of discovery was a constant source of inspiration for his family and friends. Born in Camaguey, Cuba, Frank studied engineering. Following his studies, his work led him to places as far away from the tropical Caribbean as Russia. Frank left Cuba and came to the United States in 1980. Here, he was able to establish his family in Southern California.

Generosity and love were some of Frank’s biggest hallmarks. He was always ready to greet you with a big smile, a big hug, and a cold drink (or, in many cases, a cafecito). Welcoming so many into his home with genuine hospitality and warmth. He would light up the room with his personality and his quick wit and humor. It was impossible not to share a laugh with Frank.

Beyond everything, Frank was an amazing husband and father. He will be remembered for his deep passion for life, but even deeper passion for his family. Although his passing was far too soon and there was so much love left unshared by him; it is with great confidence that the love and memories he has left us with will continue to impact our lives and serve as a source of great comfort. Anytime you think back on the life of Frank and the moments shared with him please do so with a smile as he would not want it any other way.

Frank is survived by his beautiful wife Rosa and his children: Maite, Aaron, Caesar, Kevin, Kristian, & Tommy.

Frank Zorrilla, my father, was an amazing father. I have been so blessed to call him Dad. Absolutely all my childhood memories are happy ones. He was always so happy himself, fun, and loving.
I was blessed with brothers and a wonderful step-mom, and am thankful for their beautiful life together because I know he was truly happy.
A family man to the core, he called his mother every day without fail.
I have many memories of my father, from when I was small to recently.
My favorite times are when he, Rosa, and my brothers would come and visit. We had alot of good times and laughs. I'm lucky to have had those moments.
