

Eusebio (Chebo) Cruz Fernández was born February 8, 1931 and returned to his heavenly father October 24, 2012. He has been reunited with his wife, Ernestina (Tina) Rodriguez Fernández, who proceeded him in death on March 3, 2011. They leave behind their seven children: Eusebio Jr., Silvia (George) Stevens, Virginia (Tom) Amlie, Fernando, Javier (Grace), Hector (Tona), and Maria Fernández; their grandchildren: Janet, Michelle, Aaron, Kristina, Michael, Amanda, Jennifer, Matthew, Bryce, and Analise; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Chebo was born in Orange, California. He spent the majority of his youth in El Paso, TX and Juarez, Mexico. He joined the Army in 1952, served in the Korean War, and remained a reservist until 1962. Chebo and Tina were married in 1952. They resided in El Paso before and after the war until1956 when they moved to Arizona and then California. Chebo supported his growing family as a cement mason for 40 years. He worked on the reconstruction of the Colorado St. Bridge in Pasadena and the Coliseum in Los Angeles.
He was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
