My deepest condolences to all the family and friends on the loss of Albert.  He was my darling Godson and nephew.  It was always a joy to be with him because he was so kind and loving.

One day when he was 4 years old, we were at Echo Park and he jumped into the lily pond.  A teenager saw him and jumped in and pulled him out and brought him to us but we did not recognize this little boy covered in mud.  But, when we did, we screamed and asked him why he jumped in.  He said he wanted to be like Jungle Jim in the movies.  That was a close call.  We will greatly miss him.

It's people like Albert that make heaven on earth. May God give you strength to bear your great loss.
