I actually can't remember when I was first introduced to Liz - it's been many, many years, long ago now.  We've crossed paths so many times over the years, from Recurrent Cert classes in Ok City, CMD and then later at CMEL, to my several details in AWP, to my relocation out to AWP, and through-out, including last month in the AWP Reigonal office, Liz always had a smile on her face, and always took time to converse.  She was such a gentle soul.  She tried her hardest and did her best for anyone and everyone.  She was a mainstay in our National ARP family.  She certainly will be missed by many.

I met Liz in 2004 in Oklahoma City while attending the Basic Certification Course.    I was still in the Air Force at the time, but I remember her telling me if I ever decided to become an inspector, to feel free to call her.    In 2013, I had the honor and privilege of working beside her as an Airport Certification Safety Inspector.  When I showed her our class picture, she laughed, and we relived funny stories about the class.   

Liz was always there to listen when I needed to vent or offer advice when I needed a solution to a problem.   She had a wealth of knowledge and helped mee to get where I am today.  Some people are put here at the right place at the right time, and Liz was one of those people.   She will be forever in my heart.
