It's hard to believe you're gone. You were such a bright light in all our lives.  The memories we shared in college and after are ones I will carry with me always.  You had a way of making everyone around you feel loved. Your laughter, your kindness, your spirit—they made every moment better. It's heartbreaking that you left us so soon. The world feels a little dimmer without you in it.  I miss you already, and I always will. Thank you for being a part of my life. I will treasure those memories forever. My dear, sweet cousin Elisa, I can't believe you're gone. I wish we had spent more time together. 
I have fond memories of the few times we spent together as children. When we reconnected a few years ago, I appreciated the advice you would give me. When things started radically changing in my own life, I was so grateful for how supportive you were of me. Even the last time we met, when I was there to help you, it was you who had so many kind words and encouragement you wanted to give to me instead. Your kindness meant a lot to me, and I was so looking forward to meeting up and talking with you again like you wanted. Hopefully someday we'll still be able to. 
With both of us being only children, not too far apart in age, I often thought of you as being the closest thing I had to a sister. You are gone way too soon. I hope you are at peace now.

So sorry Cousin Elisa that you're life's journey was cut short.  It's very hard to see someone you spent parts of you childhood with pass on at a relatively young age, especially a 1st cousin.  May our Sweet Lord welcome you into his arms, and may you now be free to experience the mysteries and delights that await us when our journey here is over. I’m so sorry cousin, I have no words to express the sense of loss I’m feeling knowing that you have moved on, and I haven’t had the chance to say goodbye. I have so many memories, good memories, of us, throughout the years. Last time we really spoke was not long after my mom, your aunt passed and we spoke of how our family hasn’t been so good at keeping in touch. We said we’d do better, but life is so busy, nothing like when we were kids. I remember when you told me how you were moving to Florida to stay with your dad. How you had worked things out. I’m so wish I had known you were back in California and that you needed help. I love you cousin, I know your struggle was real and that we all have to move on someday. But how tragic that you moved on now, when there should have been so many good years to slow it down and rest.

My prayers are with you Elisa, I’m sending my prayers to the Creator that you are resting now, that it all makes sense, and you feel the love you’ve always longed for.
