Edna Mae Franklin was born in Los Angeles to Wilbert and Florence Franklin on July 22, 1932. She was the baby of the family, the youngest of her siblings, Dolly Mae, Elmer, and Roy. Edna graduated from Garfield High School and married her first spouse, Harold Kelso, Sr. at eighteen. She gave birth to a son, Harold Jr., and a daughter, Hallee. She eventually met her second spouse, Patrick Mauriello, and became the mother of Jo Ann, Patricia and Joseph. Finally, Edna gave birth to her third child, Michelle. She was employed in the banking industry, which she worked in until her retirement, for a total of forty years of service. She leaves behind three of her children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Edna was a beloved woman, and will be missed by her family and friends long after her death.
