YeYe, Rest In Peace! When I think of you, I have so many fond memories. You retired early to help take care of my baby Jayson and to take care of your new daughter-in-law (me!) while she was in residency about 16 years ago. Your love was shown in actions and sacrifice—by the way you took care of your grandchildren, by the delicious meals you made for us, by the persistent way you liked to clean up the house. How fortunate my children were to have been partly raised by you! Thank you Dad for giving me Bernard. You raised him well and Bernard has become a great husband and dad. I remember how much you loved the history of your family and that you had written a book of the Ho family line. Before you left, I remember you telling me that I should have had another son! Lol. You’re so funny. I remember how much you loved to dress up and take photos of yourself especially with the grandkids. I hope you are doing well and enjoying your new painless days and nights. I promise to do my best to take care of your wife, your son and your grandchildren. I am glad that you didn’t have to live through the COVID19 pandemic. I think it would have been tough on you. I will always remember your kind smile, your gentle demeanor and how proud you were of your family.  You were the family photographer, always making sure to take pictures of everyone and show us pictures of all your grandchildren - I could always see how much you loved them and enjoyed the time you had with them. You will be deeply missed.

Dear Mr Ho, you are a tremendous person who has influenced many. I think everyone would want a family like the one you and Mrs Ho created. Bernard and Thomas are role models we can look to (based on their parental influence and advice). You have all been central and critical to my development and I thank you for your friendship and guidance. I remember your face with a smile and how you always asked how others were doing. Edmund Ho was always the kindest man with the warmest heart. We loved him at every family get together (he was always showing pics!). Reserved, respectful, always valuing family, we will miss you so much.

We are honoured and blessed to know our cousin Edmond Kwan Ho. He was truly a blessing and inspiration to our lives and we will miss him dearly.  



Always greeted with a warm smile, a welcoming handshake, and a cup of hot Lipton tea, Mr. Edmond Ho treated us like family.  He spent his mornings getting his grandchildren ready for school, his afternoons sending family photos to everyone and his evenings tidying up. For as long as we have known Mr. Ho, he has dedicated his love and energy toward his two sons and their families, setting an example for us all of what it means to be a father. His kind spirit will live on in our hearts.

We have had great memories of Mr. Ho since 2004. He was a caring father and grandfather. We have fond memories of him spending time with Kyan, Sophia, and Theodore. He was selfless and always put his family first. We have you in our thoughts and prayers. We share our deepest condolences to the Ho Family, especially Mrs. Ho, Bernard, and Thomas. We are sorry for your loss.

We remember Edmond as the friendliest man who always took the time and effort to ask how we’re doing whenever he saw us. Our children also called him Yé-Yé as he was like a grandfather to them. I will miss Uncle Edmond’s optimism and cheerfulness, and his wonderful holiday cards and letters, which always made me practice Chinese.  Many condolences to Aunt Susan, Bernard, Thomas and families.

I want to share my deepest condolences to the Ho & Hall families, especially to Mrs. Ho, Bernard, & Tom. I’m grateful for Edmond’s kindness to me. I also appreciate him  for always greeting me whenever I came to visit on the holidays. My thoughts are with everyone who loved and knew him, during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Kwan touched and inspire us in many ways he doesn’t even know. 

Magnanimous because you forgave those who have disappointed you. Perseverance with positive mind set lead to upbringing of successful family and grandchildren whom we are extremely proud of. Uncle Kwan is exemplary in being adaptive, insightful, meticulous, courageous and kind. 

You left behind wise words and inspiring model.  Thank you for your guidance

Bye, bye Edmond. You have been a good role model for your brothers and sisters and cousins. You are a great source of encouragement for all to follow. We will miss you.

The late Edmond Kwan Ho had visited us (1st cousins and their families) on numerous occasions. We enjoyed his fellowship. We are grateful to him for his laborious research on our Ho Family Tree. We had received a copy of it. 
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

Thank you Uncle Edmond for leaving us a legacy for being someone who showed that with a dream, hard work and love for your family, u achieved the best u can. U had a magnanimous heart to forgive and find the strength to connect with your roots.
I enjoy the time we msg each other reminiscing ur past and sharing our little joys. U had a fantastic memory and i admired u for learning English and technology so u can communicate with us across the globe . U fought a fine fight. I lost a great Uncle, a friend and a counsellor.
