David Jesus Godoy

David spent 35 years as a college educational administrator/director at California State University Los Angeles, most notably as the assistant vice president for student affairs. Throughout his career, David managed various educational outreach programs such as the Educational Opportunity Program, providing higher education opportunities/resources to first generation students. He was always the life of the party, he never met a plate of food he didn't like, and you could hear his voice from across any room.

David was an incredibly loving and devoted husband to his wife Maria for 42 years. She was the love of his life, his best friend, and they are now re-united dancing again in heaven. It was blessing to have him in our lives and be able to call him our father. He was our role model, our hero, and now he joins our mother as our angels.
