Spending everyday with you was a blessing. Seeing you waiting for me at the end of my run, being my cheerleader is a gift I will cherish forever, Lita. I’m grateful you put up with me cheering you on while I forced you to exercise. I know you loved it. I’m grateful for those special moments this last year, when after some medication your spark would come back, you’d sing and tell me about you. Thank you for your sacrifices. I will live my life trying to never take that for granted. Te amo con todo mi corazón Lita. 

Celestina to me was such a Mild Humble women. I met her when I was with her son John Cardenas. She loved me then and loved me 41 years later. She was a wonderful christian woman. She loved to sing her christian songs. She loved when I brought her pan dulce. I always made sure she had her pan. She loved when we had our lil talks. I loved to make her laugh. I loved when we watched the novelas I always had to ask her what the people were saying. She was such a kind person and I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace Celestina l love you and you will always be in my heart. 

I feel great pain for the loss of my grandmother.  My greatest condolences to all.

Oh how I miss my great grandmother dearly she was my guardian even on earth and she definitely was serious about things when it came to her family I hope you rest in paradise forever mi vida 💗

Mi Lita Querida,
There's no words to explain what I feel in my heart. But I have comfort in knowing she was very tired and in pain ,it was time for lita to rest and join her loved ones in heaven. I have so many memories with her but this last year that she was with me I learned so much about her life about her struggles and triumphs. I'm gonna miss getting her dolled up, I'm gonna miss hearing her yell for me. I'm gonna miss making her coffee every morning I'm gonna miss her dearly.. I want to thank her for showing and giving my kids the love she always  gave me !!we will all miss you  lita and may you forever rest in peace our beautiful angel.

When me and little Ruben will come out their to visit. Every time she seen me I was my dads mini me. She will always call his name when she seen me. That my favorite memory of her. 

To me and to many people in the family Lita was our safe place. When we lived together she would always let me sleep in her bed if I was scared or had nightmares. As I got older she was there when I needed a hug or just needed to talk. Even just sitting next to her as she watched her favorite novelas was comforting. And when I moved away every time I came back to her she welcomed me with a smile and hug.  She always just had this presence about her that let you know that everything was going to be okay. She will forever be missed. 

Lita always protected me growing up. Could never get in trouble with her, not that I ever did anything to get in trouble... but I knew I could always run to her to defend me.   Even in one of her last stories, where she says her and I were walking and got beat up, she was probably protecting me. 

Lita I will always miss you. You will forever be in my heart, say hi to my mom for me. Till we meet again grandma. Love your granddaughter Johanna.

I will always remember my grandmother being the only one to understand my Spanish. I also remember me always wanting to sit on her lap but everyone would laugh because I couldn't say it in Spanish but she knew what I was talking about I will miss her alot.

My mother was a Christ believing Christian. Vision in her heart what's the spread the love of Christ with her actions and her life, never preaching two people but with her loving kindness people could see Christ through her. She was so strong courageous. my mother was a Christ believing Christian. I remember seeing determination kindness care patience Love In Her Eyes I never ever saw fear I never detected her being afraid of something someone or anyting. It was just a matter of fact you take what comes to you in life you you do the best you can. She never back down she is my hero.
