Cameron was born and raised in Montebello, CA. He was a dedicated and loving son to longtime Montebello Unified School district board member Marcella Calderon and former California State Assemblyman Thomas Calderon.  As a loving big brother, nephew, grandson, uncle, boy-friend, bonus dad, and loyal friend, Cameron will be remembered for his many contributions to his community in Montebello.

Cameron’s legacy significantly impacted the logistics and healthcare industry. His many achievements in same-day delivery were valued by his coworkers at Amazon. He spent the last part of his life serving the Los Angeles population as an environmental services technician during a critical time for the community. He specialized in infection prevention, working diligently to keep hospital staff and patients safe. He was known for working hard with the utmost integrity and passion because he wanted to save lives.

Anyone who was blessed to have known Cameron was touched by his brilliant sense of humor and lively spirit.  As a die hard Dodger fan, he lived to see his team win the World Series in 2020.  Disneyland was a huge part of his life and he shared many wonderful moments with his mom and Sister.  In addition to those he had loving relationships with, his girlfriend Dawna, niece Phoenix, nephews Russell and Koda, surrogate son Daniel and daughter Kylee are heartbroken and will miss him deeply.  Cameron was an animal lover who advocated for animal rights and was a champion for all children, especially those that suffer the most through terminal illnesses like cancer.

An even bigger part of his life were his buddies that he considered brothers and sisters. We thank them for the love they shared with Cameron and for giving him many of the best moments of his life.  The friendship and joy you gave Cameron will never be forgotten!

Cameron will be missed but his memory will forever live in our hearts.
