Barbara Ann Mulligan Rice

She was a beautiful, caring, giving, and kind-hearted woman who will be greatly missed.

Barbara was born in Michigan and was raised in Michigan and Norwalk CA. Barbara is survived by her 11 children. Anna, John, Andrea, Senovia, Frank, Barbie, Danny, Christina, Chantel, Sierra and Phillip. 10 Grandchildren, Johnny, Rabecca, Kimberly, Ashley, Colin, Jasmine, Connor, Dezmond, Autumn, Corbin. One Great Grandchild Lucas.

Barbara was a selfless women who was a foster parent to many and wonderful friend to all over 40+ years.

She was a long time resident of La Mirada CA. She was active as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a huge heart for disabled children. She cared for numerous children over the years. Her last year she spent most of her living in San Diego where she spent time with her Grandchildren. She always told everyone all the time she raised 15 kids and was most proud of her accomplishment. She loved children.

She loved being with family and friends. She will be remembered for her quick wit, big smile, big green eyes and her love of life. Barbara enjoyed music, movies and going on outings with her family. She was always thinking of others she loved making others smile and laugh. If you knew Barbara you knew she was a great lady, a loyal friend and loving family women. She touched so many lives and will be so greatly missed.
