Barbara Moreno

Barbara was born on March 30th, 1941 in Deming, New Mexico to Elias and Rebecca Casarez and passed away with family at her side on March 2nd, 2015. Barbara was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many left behind. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Francisco, their four children (Frank, Virginia, Joe and Danny), 8 grand children, her sister Becky and her brother Joe. She was a homemaker and worked for the Head Start program as a teacher for 25 years. She was passionate about the helping under-privileged families in her community by supporting many along their path of education. Retiring in Mexico, she was involved in the local community with various charitable groups, and helped her husband build a Senior Community Center in the town of La Mission. She will be remembered for being a very loving, positive and optimistic person. She will be deeply missed by all.
