Antonio passed away in his home in Whittier, Ca on May 29, 2024, at the age of 86. He was surrounded by his devoted and loving four children, Maricela, Sylvia, David, Patricia. He was married to Soccorro Balderas for 46 years, who passed away in 2006. He was a widow for 17 years.
He was grandfather to Melissa, David, Stephanie, Victor, Amanda, Adam, and Jacob. Great Grandfather to Rowan, Ezra, and Bennett.
Antonio leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. He was a hardworking man who immigrated from Mexico at 18, raised his family in Los Angeles, and built a successful business. His passion in recent years for spending time with his family and beloved dogs, watching sports, storytelling, reading the daily newspapers, telling jokes, and driving to pick up his favorite foods will bring us joy when remembered. A pillar of strength and absolute constant in our family, his absence and big personality leaves a void in our hearts.
To commemorate his life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at Rose Hills Sky Chapel on June 15, 2024, at 3pm. A celebration of life reception will follow the service at the Rose Hills Gardenview reception center.
We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was deeply loved and will be missed.
