I brought Annaya with me to a music festival in Vegas  today… we’d seen some of these bands previously together. It wasn’t the same without her.

Annaya, I remember starting the Disney college program and being so shy and nervous to start the job but then I met you. And it was just cracking jokes the whole time and you were my training buddy. And after day one I knew you were gonna be my best friend. You pushed me to do new experiences that my shy shelf wouldn’t do. And for that I appreciate you so much. We spent the whole program together and me being a Slytherin we would joke that you were my emotion support Hufflepuff and that’s why we’re always together. You are so kind and funny and I’ll always appreciate our friendship. I’ll miss our phone calls and your contagious laugh. Rest easy my friend. Love you always.

To my dear sweet bonus brother....I never got to meet Annaya...just due to life circumstances,  our distance....east and west coast. But from the moment I met you, you were family....and this is a pain I would never want anyone I care about to endure. Without even knowing your relationship with her...I know you are a great dad, and I know she loved her dad. Please know that even though we are miles apart...I am thinking of you, your wife, son, mom, sister and all of the other people whose lives Annaya impacted...love you!

My first born niece, I remember just how excited that I was for your arrival. It was love at first sight when I was gifted time to observe your first days in this world. Time passed while I was away attending college but when I returned home, I was able to take a road trip with you and it was such the highlight. Spending time with you as an older child with her own character and interests was such a treat. Your Dad, your family loves you beyond measure. My memories of you, forever treasured.  ❤️

Annaya, you were one of the kindest, funniest, most genuine person I've had the pleasure of knowing! Never did I think that quiet, shy girl who sat in front of me in choir class 10 years ago would impact my life the way you have. Our friendship taught me so many things like how to be confident and try new things, but the most important thing you taught me was how to enjoy life and be in the moment. At work or at school you always managed to laugh and to make the best of situation regardless of how stressful it was. You also had an amazing way of letting your personality shine through while also making others around you feel comfortable to be themselves. All of the laughs, smiles, and tears we shared I will never take for granted. I am so grateful for all of the memories and time we shared together and you will be greatly missed. RIP sweet girl ❤️

I’ve been trying to find the right words, and honestly, I don’t think they exist for something like this.

Our families go back over 30 years, and because of that, you’ve always been someone I’ve known and respected. Growing up, you were one of those older guys I paid attention to, whether you knew it or not. I still wish I had a fraction of your musical talent. 

I never got the chance to meet Annaya, but your words painted a picture that was powerful. The way you talked about her… her heart, her smile, the way she still reached for your hand… that hit me. That says everything about the kind of young woman she was, and it also says a lot about the kind of father you are.

As a father myself, I can’t even begin to process what you’re going through. I just know that kind of love you have for her doesn’t go anywhere. That bond is real, and it’s forever.

I’m praying for your strength, for your peace, and for your family. You’ve always had my respect, and you definitely have my prayers.

I had the great pleasure of working with Annaya at Victor Valley College. She was a loving, caring, respectful individual. Had a very sweet and kind soul. Was very creative and talented with the children she worked with. She always came into work with a big smile and positive attitude.

My most memorable time with Annaya is when we went to get her a prom dress.  I was a bit nervous as was she, but together we managed to pick the perfect dress.  Annaya, I will miss your pretty smile, that cute giggle, those wonderful hairdo’s and Anime costumes that you lit up the room and the people in it.  I am sure your heavenly father and his angels have welcomed you with love and open arms and God willing we will all be together for all eternity.

Hey Munchkin,

It’s me… Dad.

I’ve been trying to think of my favorite memory of us to share, and the truth is—it’s impossible. There are just too many. All of our Daddy–daughter dates, birthdays and holidays, beach days, and all the big and little celebrations along the way. Even the millions of quiet moments we spent together doing nothing at all.

You’ve been with me my entire adult life.

So instead of choosing one memory, I’ll share a few of my favorite things about you.

I love the way you always held my hand. Even as a full-grown adult, whenever we walked together you would reach for my hand. That always meant more to me than you probably knew.

I love your smile. Even before the braces, your smile could light up a room.

I love how kind you are. You have always been such a joy to be around.

I love how selfless you are. You always put the people you care about ahead of yourself.

I am so grateful for the time we shared, and so heartbroken for the time we were robbed of.

I hope you know how proud I am of you. Proud of the young woman you became. Proud of how strong you were and how you pushed through the hard times. Proud of everything you accomplished, and proud to watch you finding your way in life.

I will miss you always, little one. A part of me is broken, and I know I will never be the same.

Our dearest Gina, Reggie and family. We come with a broken heart to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. Loosing a love one is the worst pain in the world. 
In Revelation 21:4 the Bible gives us a promise about the near future. It says “ And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away” So here he is promising a future without death as death is an enemy of Jehovah god.
Also the Bible speaks of a resurrection where families that were broken apart by death will be reunited when the resurrection occurs. 
Our cousin is in Jehovah’s memory but is also in our hearts. Pray 🙏 Jehovah blessed each and everyone of you. We love you family.

To my beautiful niece,

It’s hard to believe I’m writing these words. I wish more than anything that I could talk to you one more time. You were such a beautiful soul, so creative, so smart, and so full of life. The world feels quieter without you in it.

I want you to know how proud I have always been of you. You were so talented and had such a bright mind. You had so much life ahead of you, and it breaks my heart that the world didn’t get to see all the amazing things you would have done.

Life and distance kept me away more than I ever wanted, and if I could go back, I would hold on to every moment we had even longer. But please know that no matter the miles between us, you were always loved and always in my heart.

You left us far too soon, and you are deeply missed. I will carry your memory with me always, in the things you loved and in the quiet moments when I think of you.

Rest peacefully, Annaya. You will always be loved and never forgotten.

My favorite memory of Annaya is when she was younger and would come over to her Granny’s house and ask me to play video games. She’d have me set up all the dance and rockstar games, and after playing for a while she’d ask me to keep playing while she just sat and watched.

She was perfectly happy watching me play game after game, and then moving on to playing pool, ping pong, or whatever other game she could find for us. In her own way, she reminded me that college life wasn’t only about studying and sleeping in—that it was okay to take a moment to have fun and just be young.

Years later, when she was accepted into the Disney College Program, I remember how excited she was when she reached out to tell me she’d be in Orlando. She couldn’t wait to see her family out there even though she’d never met many of them. And meet my wife and kids. 

Now SHE was in college, and still had that same outlook on life,  even if she didn’t say it outright- valuing time with family and the people you love, and finding joy in the moments you share together is what she looked forward to.

I’ll miss the warmth and joy that seemed to follow her into every room. She was always so happy just being around family and friends. Sometimes she didn’t say much, but her smile said everything.

My heart is with you. Annaya brought so much love and warmth into the lives of the people who knew her, and I know I will never let go of that.

We are so lucky to have known Annaya! I remember meeting her and thinking she was a little girl with her sweet baby face but nope, she was a whole adult :) She was always so kind and so sweet. Gathering as a family will not be the same without her. We love you. Our sincerest prayers for everyone.
