To my Father and Friend,
You were always there, emotionally engaged, protective and self-sacrificing,  wise and funny. Strong. Even just your laugh made everyone else laugh also. 
At this time, it’s been nearly 10 years since your passing. Grief is said to get easier in time, but it’s not so - not with the loss of you. I love you dad!

I have fond memories of when we first met at Parkcrest family church camp and our friendship began. Then the friendship grew and many years passed by as Jack and I would always look forward to visiting you and Diana and seeing the girls grow up. We will always cherish those times in our hearts, we will miss seeing you now, but we know we will see you again.
Our prayers will be with Diana and the girls as their days ahead will be comforted by our Lord. With our Love...

Alvin was so much a part of my growing up! He was the first person I called when Dad died and he came right to the hospital to wait with me. So many firsts. He took me for my first motorcycle ride.(very short!) I'll miss him. I pray for you and the girls that The Lord will sustain you through this time, I know it is never easy.
