Alice Louise Lowe

Alice is preceded in death by her husband and best friend Burt, sister Mary Homyak, brother Walter "Sonny" Anderson and children Marcia Behne and Robert Lowe.

Alice was born on May 23,1928 in Huntington Park, California to the late Walter and Josephine Anderson. They raised three children, which Alice was the youngest.

Alice married the love of her life, Burt Lowe on 2 April,1946. In the early years they had five children and lived an active life in Whittier, CA and Summit Mississippi. Wanting more space to raise their children, Burt found a home on Turnbull Canyon Road in the hills of Hacienda Heights, CA in 1958. In 1989, Burt retired and they made their final move to the high desert, Silver Lakes, CA

Alice was a devoted wife and mother. She was kind, a great listener and always willing to offer words of encouragement and a helpful hand. She loved the lord and was an active member of her church in Helendale, CA. She worked side by side with Burt providing an awesome family life for their children. She loved nature, taking in strays and nurturing her many animals. She enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with her family and many friends. Anyone who met her walked away knowing they had met a very special lady. She will definitely be missed.

Alice is survived by her children, James Lowe (Debbie), John Lowe (Ellen), Ruth Wilson (Morgan) and grandchildren, Ruth Mallow, Mary Hensley, Shannon Mello, Timothy Lowe, Jonathan Lowe, Britney Kisling, Morgan Wilson, Jr. and Alexander Wilson as well as several great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Alice will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - Hillside Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601.

Alice will be laid to rest in Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601; Marigold Lawn; Gate: 1, Section: 18, Lot: 3457, Grave: 2.
