Albert was born on December 7, 1947, in Panama City, Panama. He was a loving father and Abuelo who worked as a teacher and professor of Spanish for 30 years. He was adored by his students. Al also graduated from medical school at the Universidad de Sevilla in Sevilla, Spain, in 1984. He was a gifted and talented man with a deep love for his hobbies: carpentry, architecture, and trains.
Al was known for his gentleness, kindness, sense of humor, and generosity. He was a faithful servant of God; a man after the heart of Jesus Christ. This love for Christ beamed out of him through his humility, integrity, servitude, generosity, and unwavering public display of faith.
He is survived by his loving children and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on September 9, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - Hillside Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California 90601.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, in Crestline, California. This was Al's church community who cared deeply for him, and as a devout Catholic, he was deeply passionate about the Catholic faith.
Al will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love and dedication to his family and his church.
Albert will be laid to rest in Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601; Suncrest Lawn; Gate: 17, Section: 6, Lot: 2175, Grave: 3.
