Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Placencia family. I met Mike at Pacific Bell in 1980s,  while Mike worked outside the Repetto garage, and I worked at the Montebello frame. We also knew Mike through Nativity Church while he worked the famous beer garden during the Nativity's fiesta, and we worked the famous carne asada booth for several years (good times).  We remained friends during these times. May Mike rest in peace and God Bless the Placencia family at this difficult time.

My deepest condescension to my cousin Mike's family. Unfortunately it's been years since I last had any contact with Mike. I do, however have limited memories or him coming over to his friend Paul's house on Hammel St where I lived across the street and it was there where my memories take me. I remember him having a cool, calm demeanor and overall cool dude. 
May the Lord comfort the family at this time in Jesus name. 


We will miss our friend and neighbor Mikey.  He enjoyed coming over for our fish Friday tacos,  dancing at our parties even when driving his fancy motor wheel chair.  We had some great times on the 4th of July looking at the fireworks from our front yard and spending time during the holidays.   Thanks for the smiles and laughs you will always be in our hearts.  We promise to take care of Nancy,, rest in peace Mikey. Love  Maria and Luis

Our deepest condolences Nancy and family. We will always remember that day when Mike and family became our neighbors. Instead of us welcoming them Mike came over to introduce himself. That day was special as we became family instantly. His warm embrace and sense of humor will truly be missed. Many memories we will cherish from swimming at our house, Halloween partys, New Years and a special guest at our a Thanksgiving table.  Mike and Marcos had a special brotherly bond like no other as Cathedral Phantoms. Hail Cathedral Hail! Will miss you hermano. See you in Heaven.

So sorry for your loss.  Your dad was always so good about checking up on my mom after my dad died.  He always ad a hello and smile for me whenever I was visiting mom and dad! My prayers are going up for you all during this most sad time.

Our condolences to Nancy and the family. Mike took control and was the life of the party.  He was  a generous person with his family and a joy to be around. Our family loved his presence and will forever hold him dear in our hearts and memories. He was the founder of our “Watchman” club and is now watching us all from heaven. We will miss you.
