Vivian E (Lindgren) Thompson passed away on November 1, 2019 in Buena Park, CA at the age of 96. She was the widow of Warren P. Thompson who preceded her in death in 1993. Vivian was born to Oscar and Signe Lindgren in Hope, ND. She grew up in the Hillsboro, ND area and graduated from Hillsboro H.S. She married Warren Thompson in 1944 and were a farm family in Traill County until 1954 when they moved to Southern California. She and Warren retired to Sun City, California in 1988 after spending their working years in Pico Rivera and La Habra, California. Vivian was involved in many church activities during her life serving on various boards and altar guilds. Family gatherings and church functions were the joys of her life. She was one of 8 siblings--Sigred Lindgren, Halger Lindgren, Helen Works, Violet Warner, Oscar Lindgren Jr., Donald Lindgren who have preceded her in death. Sister Ruth Barrett resides in San Diego, CA. Grandson Ross Thompson also preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons: Lynn (Linda) Thompson, Tom (Coreen) Thompson; Grandchildren Ryan Thompson and Erin Wassmund (Steven) and Great-grandchildren Braeden and Addison along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held after the new year.
