Truly an amazing woman. I’ll never be so fortunate to meet another.

I don’t remember the year when this pic was taken, probably between 1988-1992

My name is Maria and I just recently learned of Jamie’s passing and I wanted to share my really good memories.
Jamie and I met at our first jobs out of college, in Troy, Michigan at EDS. We clicked immediately and became close friends. We ate lunch together everyday, went to aerobics class 3-4 times a week, and went dancing together on the weekends. We always had a great time together and shared all the secrets young women share. She attended my wedding. After I moved to San Diego and she moved to Orange County, we saw each other a few times. I even met Jeff the last time I saw Jamie, when they came to see me after my first child was born. I ended up moving back to Michigan, and unfortunately we lost touch. In 2012 I moved to the Bay Area and attempted to find Jamie. But she didn’t have social media and I could never find a working number. I tried for years to find her. It was heartbreaking when Jeff found me to tell me of Jamie’s passing.
My memories of Jamie are all wonderful. We laughed together all the time, and commiserated together during our dating years. She was a great friend during that time in your life when girlfriends are everything. The picture I’m posting was taken at my bachelorette outing with my close friends, in July of 1995. I’m the one on the very left.

There is comfort in knowing there are loved ones in spirit with you. You will always be so very loved and missed.
