Bill was born March 23, 1936, in California. He was a proud member of the Air Force Reserves from 1954-1958 and also worked as a Printer and Truck Driver. While working at Pacific Press, he met his wife Orpha. Bill and Orpha were wed on June 1, 1961; they were married for 59 years until Orpha’s passing on March 21, 2020.
Bill loved vacationing with his wife at their timeshares in Kauai and Dana Point. He was a devoted member of his church and congregation as worship was a deeply rooted and valued part of his life. Bill had an extraordinary love for his many pets throughout the years which included birds, cats, and dogs. His two Chiweenie’s Jojo and Gidget remained by his side until the end. Bill enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like a cup of ice cream, a walk along the pier, and a cold beer while watching a football game.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Orpha, and his daughter, Cydney. He is survived by his three sons, Tom, Don, and Tim, his 7 grandchildren, Jenna, Angelica, Don Jr., Stuart, Heather, Paige, and Chayne, and 8 great-grandchildren.
