Sebastian Ricardo Valencia, son of Rick and Sandra Valencia and brother of Xavier and Magdalena Valencia, shared his love and caring with us all, throughout his twenty-three years of life. Sebastian died in a solo car accident on 8/20/22 leaving behind loved ones, friends, business partners, and a similarly minded community of people eager to make their mark on society. His passion was evident in his entrepreneurship activities and in the encouragement he provided to the community around him.
Sebastian’s loved ones and business community described him as a person with a true desire to bring abundance to those he loved and cared for. His warm smile and approachable personality created hundreds of friends from his early school days, sports teams, and college years. His competitive spirit was admired by his family, coaches and teammates. He enjoyed winning but appreciated the camaraderie of competition more. Children loved to be around Sebastian. His energy would radiate when playing with younger kids from his early years and into his young adulthood. After his passing, countless stories have been shared from friends, neighbors, and community members demonstrating the kindness and thoughtfulness that Sebastian personified when connecting with others.
Sebastian was dedicating his early adulthood to his health and businesses. Brick Los Angeles established on 7/17/21 is a thriving sneaker, street wear, and vintage clothing store in Downey, CA. It was his passion to ensure its success. He used Brick Los Angeles to buttress his engagement with the community and increase his exposure to opportunities. Sebastian was simultaneously working on another recently established business, Garment Gallery, which specializes in the personalizing of merchandise frequently desired by businesses like Brick Los Angeles. Sebastian was starting his final year as a computer science major at California State University Long Beach. His academic goal was to earn an MBA to support his love for business. He envisioned owning 5 businesses by his 25th year. His business partners and family will work to keep his businesses operational and make his philanthropic desires a reality.
Sebastian’s funeral services will be on Saturday 9/10/22 at Rose Hills SkyRose Chapel 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA 90601.
