Sandra Estrada Ramirez, age 67 of San Gabriel, California passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Sandra was born on February 11, 1954 in CA. Sandra is one of 9 siblings, 3 brothers and 6 sisters, who grew up in a loving hard-working family. Her father John Rodriguez Estrada was a WWII veteran and her mother, Jennie Estrada, was an amazing mother and grandmother to more than 31 grandchildren. Growing up Sandra attended Roosevelt Elementary and San Gabriel High School.
Sandra is survived by her 5 children; Renee, Ricky, Jennie, Marcos Jr and Anthony. Her most prized possessions in life were not materialistic, but her grandchildren. Sandra loved being a grandma / nani to Johnathan, Joseph, Angel, AJ, Jazzy, Michael and Baby Marcos. She always said she lived for her grandchildren and she would do anything to see them smile. Sandra has given the gift of love and beautiful memories to her children and grandchildren; which they will cherish for a lifetime.
Sandra’s favorite memories growing up were playing under the weeping willow tree in the sand and playing with her childhood friends. Her eyes would sparkle when she talked about summers in Madera picking grapes or Mexico on the ranch. Sandra was a hippie at heart and a very creative person. Sandra can be described as strong and a wildflower, and that’s an understatement. She never gave up in life and ensured her family felt loved. Her children never questioned her love for them and always tried their hardest to take care of their mama. Sandra loved god and always talked about the day where she would join her mom in heaven. Although her children and grandchildren miss her immensely, they have found some peace in knowing she is in heaven with her loved ones.
Please hug each other a little tighter, and tell your family you love them every chance you get. Life is beautiful yet fleeting. Enjoy every moment and every person in it.
