Dear Anna,

I wanted to let you know I left Delta Air Lines many years ago, but I still remember when Sal was hired — and the shy crush he had on you as we all grew up together during such an extraordinary time in our industry. So many of us treasured your  sweet, lasting love story. You and Sal were meant for each other, and I believe you will be reunited one day in peace and loving spirit. May God bless you and your family, and may our dear friend and colleague rest in eternal peace.

Sending my Condolences to Sal's family I worked with Sal for 23 years at Delta Airlines. My last business trip was with Sal down to Cancun. Letting the family know you are in my prayers.

There are so many great memories of working together. Sharing in your 40 Year Delta Anniversary was just one of some many. You will be greatly missed.

Sal, Anna and I all worked together at Delta Air Lines . All 3 of us shared Italian roots, but Sal and I shared a love of Horse Racing. My boyfriend was a jockey and Sal and I made many a successful wager. We would talk about Horse Racing all the time.  When Sal and Anna got together I knew it was a match made in heaven. They were blessed to find each other and I was blessed to have 2 such special friends. Sal, I will miss you and the world was a better place having you in it. RIP my dear friend.

I was hoping there would be a virtual option of the service but upon a call to Rose Hills unfortunately this chapel doesn't receive good reception.

My heart is with you all at this very sad time. Sal was a wonderful person who loved his family friends and always greeted you with a smile. Had a great sense of humor and I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of years with him in New York, California, and traveling with he and Anna and the kids Joanne and Jennifer and just having a good time together .some of my favorite times were in  apartment 416 where he and Marky and Joanne and I had many laughs we were growing up. Attached is a photo from Christmas 1999 of Sal'  favorite musician Billy Joel. We all know how we loved him almost as much as his Dodgers. Dearest Anna and Family,

Sal was a loving husband, father and friend.  I have many fond memories of him at Delta, always working hard with a smile.  He was a strong and determined man.  My thoughts and heartfelt support for you in your loss.

Taken from us far too soon by an unfair illness. He was someone who welcomed everyone with warmth, making each person feel like part of the family. His kindness and the way he made us feel at home will remain in our hearts forever.

I met Sal through Little League over 25 years ago. We competed against each other coaching our boys but became friends over time. We served on the board of directors together and progressed to running the league as President and Vice President. We shared our Italian heritage and our love for making pizza. I got to know his family and him my family. He gave me the privilege of coaching Michael and my son Adam in the Junior All Stars as we won the district championship. I will truly miss my friend.
