Robert Clarence Shaull

Robert Clarence Shaull was born on April 3, 1928. He was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the age of 96. Although originally from Chicago, IL Robert was a resident of Pasadena, CA for the past 45 years.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Blanche Shaull and by his brother, Donald M. Shaull who was a master Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Bob was so proud of his brother who was killed serving in World War II and was a Purple Heart and American Defense Service Medal recipient.

Robert is succeeded in death by his wife, Elvira Shaull, and his children: Chuck Shaull, Sue Twitty (Tom), Steve Shaull (Julie), Judie Daunt (John), Nancy Chae (SooYul), Thomas Shaull (Lisa), Debbie Newell (Victor), Ronald Shaull, Sally Gardner (Keith), and Jim Shaull (Jen). His family grew to include 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A devoted husband, Bob shared 30 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Elvira Shaull. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they created a life filled with many cherished memories.

Bob’s professional legacy is as distinguished as his personal one. A renowned CPA for 65 years, his expertise and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues, businesses and clients alike. His sharp mind and commitment to excellence made a lasting impact in his field, and his work ethic served as an inspiration to all who knew him.

Bob was a faithful member of St. James United Methodist Church for 30 years serving with joy and purpose in his church community. During those 30 years, he served in the choir and was active in the Men’s Club where he served as the treasurer and secretary.

Robert Clarence Shaull will forever be remembered for his kind heart, his love, and his contagious smile. He has gone home to heaven, but he remains within our hearts eternally.

A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at Solheim Senior Community, 2236 Merton Ave, Los Angeles, CA, 90041 on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2:00PM PST. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable man he was.
