He is survived by his wife Rebecca, and his sons, Ramón Jr., Michael, Steven, Thomas, Carlos and their spouses. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Ramón proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Cable and Lineman, Senior Antenna Specialist, spending time in Cheyanne, Wyoming, Kunsan, Korea and Warner Robbins, Georgia. Ramón worked for the City of Los Angeles, Department of Water and Power, as an Electric Trouble Dispatcher and retired after 34 years of dedicated service. The consummate athlete, Ray lettered in Cross Country from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Boyle Heights, California and was a passionate tennis player. Ramón was an avid collector of cars, clocks, coins, paintings and had an extensive collection of music. Ray had an unparalleled work ethic and an authentic and infectious smile that would always bring comfort and joy. Ray was known to be a perfectionist and if things were not right, he would say “I want to see the Manager”. His request has been fulfilled. He is now in the presence of our Heavenly Manager.
