Nancy Elsene Fisher was born to Norman and Florence Knudsen on January 6, 1939 in Los Angeles, California. She was a beautiful child, skilled in both scholastic and athletic activities. Nancy graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School with honors in 1957. She was also a member of the school's swim and diving teams.
In 1958 while at the beach with her friends, Nancy met John Lee Fisher, a young Marine who was also there with his friends. They fell in love, were married, and started a family. Their first child, a son was born in 1959. Then in 1963 they welcomed their second child, a daughter. In 1960 they moved to Covina, Ca. where they lived for 63 years.
Nancy was very active in the Local PTA and was a Leader in both the Boy and Girl Scouts. She became a member of the Unted Methodist Church in 1959 where she served in the Choir, Women's Charities, and was a Lay Speaker. Nancy was also the Wedding Co-Ordinator for the West Covina United Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed bowling, reading. gardening, traveling, and hosting parties for both her family and friends. Her greatest joy came from her family who she loved spending time with. Nancy also loved her pets.
Nancy is survived by her Husband John Lee Fisher. Her children John Lee Fisher Jr. and Nanette Marie Childress. Her 3 living grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren who all loved their Myah very much.
