Aunt Myrna you will be forever in my heart. I have nothing but good memories from your warm smile and hugs, to the amazing fudge you always had for Justin &I lol and the love you had for your brother aka my Dad also known as Pap. I want to let you know that I love you and I know you would be proud of the woman I have become.  SIP.  Though I am sad I'm at peace knowing you are no longer suffering. This is not goodbye this is a bittersweet see you later.

I remember it like it was just yesterday. In the early 1980s, when us girls and our mom moved into Tarr Village, an apartment complex in Cypress, Myrna and her family were already living there. She lived with her husband and her children, Mark and Lisa.
Lisa became my sister Lupita’s best friend, and those two were stuck to the hip! 😂 Because of that friendship, Myrna became so much more than Lisa’s mom. She became like another mother, a sister, and family to all of us.
Myrna was wise, loving, caring, firm, disciplined, and a godly woman. She had a beautiful heart and soul, and her wisdom and love for her family were evident in everything she did. She loved us, guided us, told us stories, and welcomed us into her home and her heart.
My mom was constantly working, sometimes three shifts, doing everything she could to provide for us. Myrna was one of those special women who helped fill our lives with the love, guidance, wisdom, and discipline we needed.
We were her Mexican children. ❤️ And she loved us like we were.
Myrna holds a very special place in my heart for who she was to me and my sisters. She became part of our family and our story, and I will always cherish those memories.
Our deepest condolences to Lisa, Mark, and the entire extended McDonald family. ❤️🙏🏼
Myrna, I love you, and thank you for who you were to me. Now go find my mom and give her a big hug for me. 🤗❤️ I’m sure she’s been waiting to see you.

I was truly hurt when I received the news of your passing, I was praying that you would hold on until I came back so we could have our chats like we use to have for hours. I really enjoyed hearing you talk about your younger years and hearing the happiness and laughter in your voice. I'm truly going to miss you, rest well my friend until we meet again your friend Annie ❤️🙏🏾
