Her early schooling was done in Hong Kong and she was an excellent student. In 1972, she moved to the United States to further her education at Citrus College and California University State University Long Beach, where she made many lifelong friends.
While at Cal State Long Beach she met and later married Daniel Wong, an engineer. She pursued a degree in Accounting and eventually worked her way up to the position of Financial Controller at an international defense company.
The thing she loved most was to spend time with her family and friends. She was effortlessly funny and was always ready to joke and put people at ease. We will all dearly miss her laugh, her generous spirit and her bright and loving energy. She had a big heart and unconditional generosity for those in need.
She was witty, intelligent and charming. She lived her life to the fullest and had a range of hobbies she enjoyed. She loved traveling and exploring new places. She enjoyed playing mah jong, ping pong, cards, rummikub and ping pong. She did Tai Chi in every morning and sang every night before her nightly prayers.
