I miss you so much! I know that everyone is telling me to "move on", but I cannot move on without you. I think about you every day and hold you in my heart and soul. I love you so much! My Beautiful Angel, my Soulmate.

Seems like this all started today, but my calendar assures me it has been a year. It seems like only yesterday, I was kissing her goodnight and putting my arm around her as we drifted off to sleep together. It seems like only yesterday, everything we planned for the rest of our lives was still going to happen. But now all of this has changed completely - except for two things. One, I still love her as much as I always have. Two, we will always be soulmates. I love you my beautiful Angel, my Soulmate, my Wife.

Her Last Concert. She really loved Bruno Mars.

My Angel's Isuzu. She was so happy with that car.

My Angel AKA Mom, made it complete. Such a warm and loving family.

A portion of a letter I wrote to Lucy when we were dating......

"It has seemed like forever that I have longed for a Soulmate, hiding a longing, a secret ache deep within my heart that was never satisfied.

I can remember gazing out at quiet star-filled nights, whispering prayers that someday, somehow, somewhere, I would find that one special person who was meant just for me.

I imagined us laughing at silly things, sharing tears over sad things, being there for each other. Watching as a special something would grow that would keep us together as one - forever.

I imagined us holding each other in our embrace as we quietly read each others thoughts, and gazed into each others souls. We would love each other passionately, totally and heart to heart. It would be at these times that our souls would touch and we would know what true love was.

I waited and dreamed and dreamed and waited. Year after long year I waited, slowly realizing that my dream was exactly that - only a dream.

Then I met you!"

My beautiful Angel and I on our first date on board The Queen Mary.

When I first saw Lucy there was something so different and beautiful about her that it took my breath away. I remember our first date on board The Queen Mary at Sir Winston's. She was so nervous and so beautiful. I remember the first time we said "I Love You" to each other, and at the time, I didn't know why the name "Angel" came to mind, but I do know why now. She was known as "Pillow" to our two sons, who quickly started calling her Mom. She always called them her sons. She gave them the unconditional love that only a mother can give her children. They gave her the unconditional love that only a child can give their mother. I proposed to her on Father's Day, but our spirits and souls were already together. We were married on board the Queen Mary, the same place of our first date. We were already soulmates well before the ceremony. We raised a family together and did so many family things. So many trips, so many diners out, so many school functions. There was so much love in our house, in our family. So much warmth, so much peace. She was the rock, the anchor of our family. I do not know why God called her home to heaven, but she was the answer to a prayer of mine so many, many years ago. I am grateful for everything she did for me and our sons, and our wonderful family. I love you Angel.

My Dear Sister Lucy couldn’t have been a more Beautiful , Sweet and Most Loving Sister than I could ever imagine having. She was so caring , so full of love and life and taught us everything she knew because she loved showing us and teaching us all.
She was literally like a second Mother to all of my children, ultimately becoming one of the Best Auntie they could ever have.
We have been so fortunate and blessed to have had her in our lives all these years as our Loving Sister and Auntie.
I am so grateful 🙏🏽

Rest In Peace My Beautiful Sister
I could only hope that you’re together with our sister Lorraine and Dad and watching over our Little Baby Angel Lahanin.
I will forever hold you in my heart
and I will miss you so so much .
I love you always Sis ❤️

I first met Lucy in 1976. When her sister, Lorraine, and I became friends. Since then Lucy became a steadfast friend and eventually sister-in-law.
She was always welcoming. Always loving ❤ and supportive. She embraced everyone and made us feel at home.
Her passing has taken a chunk out of my heart. (Not much heart left).
Her strength in loving, will be a loss everyday.
Her laughter in the room, now leaves a void.
My dear sister your passing leaves tears in my soul. I will always love you.
I pray you are at peace, Laughing with Lorraine and your dad.

Lucy and Richard at our wedding —-so fortunate to have them in our lives showing a true example of a loving union. Miss you always Lucy and all your Love. “Love you guys❤️❤️“
