For those who could not make it- it was a fitting celebration of life for a man who left this earth too soon. God has plans for Ken in heaven!

Ken was such an amazing person, friend and leader.  I only worked with him for two years, but I will never forget everything I learned from him.  His memory will always be blessing to those for knew him.  He will never be forgotten and the legacy he built will be carried on for a very long time.

On behalf of the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) we extend our deepest condolences to Ken’s family, friends, and work colleagues.
 
Ken was not only a valued member of the CSMFO community but also a pillar of support and guidance to so many in our profession. His dedication to auditing government agencies throughout California was unparalleled, and his work consistently reflected his commitment to financial transparency and accountability.
 
Ken had an extraordinary gift for teaching. He helped countless individuals navigate new accounting requirements, always with a patient and thoughtful approach. What made Ken truly special, though, was his ability to bring light to an otherwise complex and highly regulated field. His humor, good cheer, and warm demeanor made even the most challenging moments manageable, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to work with him.
 
While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his remarkable legacy—a legacy of excellence, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Ken’s impact on our profession and the countless lives he touched will never be forgotten.
 
To Ken’s family and loved ones, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May his memory inspire us all to carry forward his passion for learning, his commitment to service, and his gift for spreading joy.

I am so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. Ken was an amazing person and this is a huge loss to the CPA profession. His kindness and his focus on quality and excellence will be missed. May his memory be eternal!

Ken was a boss , a Friend , a brother to me . My heart goes out to his family and wife . He will be truly missed . His legacy will live among us . He is in a better place now .
