John (as he preferred to be called) was one of the friendliest people I ever met at Hawthorne High School...We didn't hang out very often but when we did,this guy really knew how to have a good time....The times when I did get to hang out with him were great memories that I will always cherish!!...& he really made an impression on my mother which isn't the easiest thing to do....John will always be near & dear to my family's heart...God bless you & your family John,we miss you very much already

John was one of my closest friends I remember when we were kids drinking 40s and running from Inglewood police in the car wash and hiding in the bushes we had a lot of fun in the 80s and going to shows was great with him I'll see you on the other side brother

John was one of the first metal dudes I met when I thought  I was the only dude around that was in to metal from our town and from him I met a lot of other people it let me know I wasn't alone in this  world and it's not the same without him now but I know he's rocking out with the best of them  your memories will stay with me forever

I’m going to miss all the great times we had at the Raider Games n also all the talks we had n understood each other, Love ya my Brother.
