Wish we could be there today to celebrate Johnny’s life and mourn his passing.  Johnny was such a nice man and a lot of fun, too.  
Dan and I enjoyed the times we got together with Brenda and Johnny at celebrations. We would spend the entire evening laughing and telling stories.  
Johnny will be missed.  
We are keeping Brenda and family close in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

     I remember the wedding. My mom and I traveled from Chicago to attend, it was “spectacular.” Johnny was so proud and went all out to make it a major event.
     Each time I visited the family, he came and was present.
     Johnny was an actively involved and concerned true family member.  He will be remembered and truly missed.♥️

Brenda, remembering our week-end get aways when the kids were young.  The guys would always find a way to get a golf game in.  After so many times we got use to their passion for the game.  Johnny was great at making us laugh when talking about his golf game.  We could get into some spirited discussions about sports and politics.  We loved how Johnney defended his point to the end. Brenda, Amber, Johnathan, Xavier and the whole family we love you  and will always be there  with and for you. Our friend is resting now and we praise God for the times we had together. 💕

Johnny! Johnny! He would call me "sis" when I'd see him. He and Brenda were our neighbors on Empty Saddle Road in Walnut. He had a wealth of historical knowledge. He and John Haywood would take their son's Jonathan and Johnathon to the  All American Walnut Cowboys Jr football practice at Snow Creek Park which later became Basketball practice too. It was always the get together with the team family fun times almost every weekend.  We had three children and Johnny and Brenda had three children. Johnny and Brenda introduced us to our home church 30 years ago. Johnny made sure we participated too. May God bless Brenda, Amber, Jonathan and Xavier during this very difficult time. May He give you the peace that truly surpasses all understanding.; because I will never ever forget my brother Johnny Lindsey. Rest in Paradise bro!❤❤❤Carla and John Haywood 

I will always remember how handsome Johnny looked as he walked Amber down the aisle on her wedding day. He was such a proud and loving Father of the Bride. It is a cherished memory to remember watching Jonathan's  and Xavier's joyful  faces as Johnny took Brenda in his arms and embraced her as they glided across the dance floor.  
I am thankful that the Lord gave him some time to enjoy his beautiful granddaughters.
Johnny was a man of many fine qualities. He will be missed by all. May the love and protection of Christ surround his family at this trying time. Peace be with you all.


So many  fond memories of Johnnie I would always call him Mr. Lindsey, our boys played basketball from middle school all the way through high school,  I remember him coaching the boys to some victories, our families became very close. I remember going to Las Vegas with each other enjoying time together hanging out having dinner and lots of fun, but most of all I remember how kind Mr. Lindsey was always a smile on his face never a cross word  coming from him. I will cherish our friendship for the rest of my life. My prayers are going out to Brenda, Amber, Jonathan and Xavier and his entire family.
