Jesse Gonzales Luna

Jesse graduated from Sierra Vista High School in 1971. He went to work for his dad’s produce store, Jim’s Produce, in Baldwin Park. He later worked for Presto Foods and was with the company for 44 years before retiring in 2020.

He married the love of his life, his Rosita, in June 1987. He and Rose have two children, Philicia and Jessica. Jesse’s true pride and joys were his five grandchildren, Preston, Tessa, Makena, Chase and Charlie. To know Jesse was to know his biggest blessing in his life was his family.

Jesse was a loving husband, father, “Bappa,” son, brother, and friend. He was a hard-working provider and protector to his family. He was a kind, genuine, respected man with strong morals. He will be missed immensely by all his loved ones and friends. We find comfort in knowing he is in the presence of his Heavenly Father.

“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”

A funeral service for Jesse will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - SkyRose Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601.
