Illona was pure sunshine! I feel lucky that I had the privilege to meet her, have her as a Colleague, and after getting to know her, having her as a dear friend. It was easy to fall in love with Illona. She is beautiful on the inside and out. Her smile can light up the whole world. She was an Angel here on Earth. She loved and spoke about her family on a daily basis while  we worked together. Her eyes would light up when she spoke about her wonderful son Mitchell. She was so proud of what a great man of integrity he had grown to be. Ilona you lit up my life here on Earth and you will continue to do so from Heaven. You helped so many on your path here! I love you Soul Sister! Thank you for being  amazing you! I’m so lucky to have you in my life, I feel so blessed and I am so grateful for you and your lovely family. You will be dearly missed but I know you will be looking down on us from Heaven. God bless you and your wonderful family!

Working with Illona was a pleasure. We had a lot of laughs. She cared, deeply, about her students and helped many reach their goals.

I will never forget our fun times in college...but my favorite memory was summer in the back yard at the Gamma Phi house, music blaring, singing in dancing in the sun...not a care in the world. I can’t even picture her without a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. Then, it was so much fun to see her on HGTV. Oh how she hated those dust bunnies. What a huge loss for her friends and family. Too soon, but i will always remember her with a smile on my face and in my heart.
