Elnora Dean was born in East Texas on April 30 1926 the daughter of Rueben and Luella Madkin. She as the youngest of the ten siblings. Elnora met her husband to be, Owen Dean Jr, when he was in the Air Force stationed at Fort Worth Texas. They were united in marriage on July 26, 1953 and became the proud parents of two children.
After raising her children, Elnora graduated from Nursing School and worked as a Registered nurse for many years at St. Frances Medical Center in Lynwood, California
Elnora was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles for over fifty years, she served as a Trustee and Deacon and was in charge of the weekly "Feed the Homeless" program. Elnora was an accomplished bowler and a late in life took up golf when she and Owen moved to the retirement community of Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning California. After moving to Banning, she became an active member of Beaumont Presbyterian Church.
Elnora went to be with The Lord on July 22, 2023 and is survived by her Husband Owen Dean Jr, Son Owen Dean III, daughter Debra Robinson, Son-in-Law Jackie, two grandchildren Branden and Christina, two great grandsons Jay and Kai, and a host of nieces and nephews. We will dearly miss her sense of humor, wonderful smile and loving and caring personality.
