Ella Yu-Hsia Hsu

Ella was born in Chengdu, China to George Chao Chi Hsu and Lucie Yuan Ju Sun Hsu, Ella grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. She went to Ming Chuan College for girls and began working as an administrative assistant after graduating. She moved to the United States in 1975 and worked at 3M Unitek Corporation. She retired in 2015 after working for them for 39 years.

Ella’s relationships encompassed all aspects of life, and each was so meaningful to her. From phone calls to social chats to Lunar New Year events, to sharing large group meals, to work reunions, to traveling abroad, to be the first to wish you happy greetings on holidays and anniversary dates, Ella was always there for you… She was the friend who would lead you with her hand to see something that was very exciting and her enthusiasm for it was beyond measure. She was extremely devoted to her friends and family and her love for them was unconditional.

She is survived by her son, Gavin. Her older sisters Katherine and Rita, her younger sister, Lucy, and her younger brother Jason.

A viewing, memorial service, and burial will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601 on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. The viewing will be between 9am-11am. The memorial service will begin at 11am and end at 12 noon. Both will be at Chapel 120 in the visitation center. The burial will begin around 1pm after the viewing and memorial service ends. The burial will be at the South View Lawn in Rose Hills.

There will be a meal/reception after the burial. Please inform her son, Gavin, if you will be attending. The meal/reception will be held at Boston Lobster, 4501 Rosemead Blvd., Rosemead, CA 91770. The time has yet to be determined. It will begin between 3pm and 4pm.

徐渝霞訃聞 (1945-2024)

各位親戚朋友，先⺟徐渝霞⼥⼠因肺癌於⼆零⼆四年⼋⽉⼆⼗七⽇病逝於加州艾爾蒙地市，享壽七⼗九歲。

徐渝霞⼥⼠⼀九四五年出⽣於中國四川成都。⽗親徐肇基; ⺟親孫淵如。早年徐渝霞隨⽗ ⺟躲避戰亂，移居台灣台北，後畢業於銘傳⼥⼦商業專科學院。⼀九七五年移⺠美國，後 於3M Unitek Corporation任職三⼗九年，於⼆零⼀五年退休。

徐渝霞⼥⼠⽣前交遊廣闊，熱情好客。每個朋友對她都很重要。無論是平常噓寒問暖，或是同事團聚，她都⼀定是滿腔熱忱的參與。對待親朋好友寬⼤為懷，古道熱腸，總是樂意分享⽣活的情趣。她永遠是第⼀個祝你佳節愉快的⼈。當你需要她的時候，她永遠會在你身邊。她對待家⼈朋友的愛，不吝於付出，關懷永無⽌境。

為了讓家⼈與摯親好友們可以向徐渝霞⼥⼠給予最終的追思與告別，我們將於⼆零⼆四年

九⽉⼗七⽇星期⼆上午舉⾏瞻仰及追思儀式。地點定於Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary 的禮堂Chapel 120, 地址是3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601。瞻仰時間為上午九點⾄上午⼗⼀點，追思儀式為上午⼗⼀點⾄中午⼗⼆點完畢。
