Colleen Hammond sure was a “character”. She had her own vocabulary, her “polishisms”, like her address book being listed by first name. If you knew her you knew what she meant by whatchamajiggy or whatchamacallit. She would give you that look, rolling her eyes. An amazing memory could recall details 30 years ago like it was yesterday. A great cook, she made the best rice krispy treats and entertained first class all the way! Colleen loved her sweets and would never be without her black purse. She loved to travel thru Mexico, Canada, USA and Europe. A very kind and generous heart always looked out for others. Colleen made sure everyone in her life knew they were special and loved dearly. You are truly special to us Mom. We love you and your love will forever live in our hearts.
