Brandi Rae Valentine was born the fourth of five children on September 2, 1980 in bellflower California to Richard Valentine and Caroline Valentine. She was a fair skin beauty with curly blonde hair her mother often referred to her as her “Shirley Temple” some other nicknames she had were “Bran, Bambi, and “Bam”
Brandi lived off painter avenue Whittier for most of her childhood and the many memories of Brandi and her cousins playing freeze tag till dark and relay races in the drive way. Brandi’s childhood was filled with adventure, fun, dirt pies and sometimes arguments as sometimes siblings and cousins do.
When Brandi was 23 years old she was blessed with her first son Christopher Marquez, he was the best thing that happened to her. “Those were her words”. She loved being his mother, she was dedicated to working hard, and making sure Christopher always had what he needed. She did everything in her power to be a good mother for him.
When Brandi was the age of 29, she dedicated her life in water baptism to her god Jehovah, this was an important part of her life and she taught Christopher the values and faith that her god gave to her as she studied the bible and allowed it to mold her life. Her favorite bible verse was Isiah 45:18 thru chapter 46. She was a very spiritual minded person and those who know her well know she loved bible truths and would defend her faith. It was during this time she met one of her best friends Natasha Villado these two were inseparable from the day they meet until her last day.
Seven years later when Brandi was 36 years old the “Second love of her life appeared” “Liam Valentine “Her expressive, energetic and loving son” during this time had lived in Chino and stayed focused on her two boys. Keeping the course of working hard…. until one day…………..
Brandi’s life changed! On August 17 2018. This is when she met the final piece of her heart puzzle “Kevin Garcia” it was an instant bond of love. Kevin helped Brandi care for her boys being either “Kevin” or “Dad” whenever they needed him. He took care of her family. Brandi had finally found the man of her dreams. He proved his love for her up until her very last breath, there is no doubt Brandi knew what she had in Kevin.
Brandi was an amazing Tia to all her nieces and nephews. To Tell you the truth.. the official word is out .. “Brandi was the favorite Tia”… ask any one of her nieces and nephews… she had the Title! She was loved by all who came to know her or be a part of her life.
Brandi is survived by her two boys Christopher, Liam, her mother Caroline, Brother Ray, and sister’s Christina, Annita, Rosie, along with her nine nieces and nephews and her finance Kevin Garcia
Brandi had so many roles to each one of us here. It is heartwarming to see how many people truly loved her and our hurting with her family. Today “Our hearts cry out,… “Our minds weep in pain” and “Our body pleads to see her again”. Many of us share some same feelings but just know.. Brandi knows how we feel, that we loved her. So let us continue to show honor her by supporting and loving her boys as she would.
Thank you
