He spent the first 17 years of his life in Valinda, California. AJ always had fond memories of growing up with his sisters and close to all of his cousins. The stories he shared were filled with mischief, adventure and comedy. Having grown up surrounded by his family, positively impacted him and helped shaped him into a man with a strong connection to his family.
AJ graduated from West Covina High School. After graduation he enlisted into the United Stated Marine Corps. This was the most impactful and memorable part of his life. He was a Marine for life and remained loyal to all Marines past and present. AJ was molded in the military to have a serious face and a loyalty that everyone he encountered gravitated towards.
AJ met his wife Kelly in 1999, while working at Best Buy in the City of Industry. They were married on September 27, 2003. They welcomed their first child, Joaquin Anibal Jimenez on July 13, 2004. Their second child Elisa Audelia Jimenez was born on March 18, 2007. His family was his life. Everyday he devoted to loving and protecting them. He always told his wife his biggest fear was losing one of them. There are not enough words to describe the love he had for his wife and children.
AJ was an incredible man who made very person he encountered feel like they were his best friend. He had a serious face and a heart of gold. He loved to make people laugh and get a rise out of them. AJ was and is an incredible man.
