Alice was born in Missouri August 19, 1929 and due to the hardship of the depression, the family moved to Karlsruhe, Germany to be with extended family. She survived the war with stories to tell of the times; some tragic of loss and hardships, some heart lifting of family and bonding. After the war she and her brother Ernie moved back to the USA and she landed in New York where she met and married Rudy Stoklos. They lived in New Jersey for a short time
and where she gave birth to Karen. Shortly thereafter the family moved to CA ending up in the Pacific Palisades where the family expanded with the birth of the twins Randy and Rhonda and
later the youngest Curtis. She and her husband ran Saras Inc until her husband’s death in 1988. She then moved to Oceanside, CA where she purchased and managed an industrial building
business. For several decades she enjoyed being closer to her brother Ernie and his wife Elfriede, her gardens, critiquing the Lakers and traveling. She lived a full and long life and loved
all of her family very much. She will be greatly missed.
